Professional Growth Plan
1st GOAL:
To shift my teaching in social studies from teacher centered to student centered. (KSA 2g), (KSA 2n), (KSA 2o), and (KSA 2q)
STRATEGIES:
-Plan collaboratively and share resources with the teachers in my school
-Apply the strategies I have learned in my classes in the classroom
-Teach the students the skills they need to be independent
-Add in chances for the students to practice being independent
TIMELINE:
- Start incorporating small independent activities as we go
- After I teach the students all about the countries we will practice
- World Trade Expo!
EVIDENCE OF ACHIEVEMENT:
-Are the students able to complete the trading expo without much guidance?
RESOURCES:
-Teachers in and outside of the school

Create and provide an art club once a week to teach the students about art history and different mediums in an imaginative and engaging way. (KSA 2d), (KSA 2h), (KSA 2i), (KSA 2j), (KSA 2q),
STRATEGIES:
- Introducing interesting and new and old artists that the students can relate with or are intrigued by
- Teaching a mix of female and male artists
