Example 2:
Motivated the students daily to be their best selves. At the end of every week two names would be drawn for a small prize. Students can earn tickets for targeted behaviors. I have the students write their own names on the ticket and enter it into the jar for them to feel more satisfaction.

Example 3:
Introduced literature circles and as a class we went over how we can be successful in them. Discussed the steps we take to be successful and what each one looks like, feels like, and sounds like.

Example 4:
Integrated 'Road Rules!' into my day as a form of classroom management. The student would take her name and move the light to their name and if she got to the red light parent involvement was the next step. The visual and moving their name impacted the students and changed their behavior quickly.

Examples:
Created a strong rapport with students that influenced risk taking and learning. When I showed the students that I was interested in them and their success I had an easier time managing the classroom because the students and I had trust and mutual respect.
